In October 2021, ‘Twitch’ a livestreaming video game streaming market was reported to have leaked sensitive data about their gamers. In total 135 gigabytes of data were leaked online, entailing the source codes for Twitch, the payout figures for streamers and un-released project (BBC, 2021). Sky News (2021) reveal that the breach was motivated by the dislike of the Twitch community.
• OPTION 2: Facebook case study – brief overview of the breach
In April 2021, ‘Facebook’ was found to have leaked more than 500 million users’ personal details in Australia,
which led to calls for Australian Facebook users to secure their social media accounts (The Guardian, 2021).
As the ‘go-to’ expert for your chosen industry – you have been asked to produce a report using Adobe Sparks to showcase the report, in which you critically analyse the specific impact the incumbent CEO’s ‘ethical leadership’ has had on the organisation and how it has impacted the organisations culture and financial performance.
The audience of your products is an academic forum, so objectivity and neutrality, along with sufficient academic theory to support your assertions will avoid questions being raised over your own credibility.
