Research Proposal & Annotated Bibliography (450 words + reference list + annotated bibliography- 75 words each entry).
Instructions:
The research proposal will build off the literature review and detail the topic and methods for your final WRDS 150 research project. Your proposal will:
• Include a title that includes your major
abstraction(s)
• Articulate the “big issue” and abstractions
that prompt you to undertake this project.
• Map the current state of knowledge (using
reporting expressions, citation).
• Identify the research gap (or “knowledge
deficit”) your work will fill.
• Raise research questions that address the
knowledge deficit.
• Indicate the scholarly value of your
proposed work: the contribution to knowledge
your discussion will make.
• Use APA documentation style & features of
scholarly discourse.
• 1 of the course pack articles and at least 3
other academic articles that are not on the
course syllabus.
**You may use the same sources as those
used in the Literature Review assignment
I have uploaded the Lit Review I had turned in previously that this proposal is supposed to be a continuation of, (along with the critiques I’ve received. The instructor mentioned that the subject can change if inspiration has shifted.
I also uploaded an example the instructor has given us to refer to, along with a few other articles we have read in class (ONE OF THE SOURCES USED MUST BE FROM A CLASS READING). The other 3 sources must be outside journal articles not from class readings.
