In Module 2, we will present historical information regarding education and the teaching profession in order to trace significant events, innovations and developments and determine how these aspects have affected and continue to affect the profession of teaching today. As you prepare to become a teacher, this information will contribute to developing your own philosophy and understanding of education and the teaching profession.
