How can we use the frameworks from our class to better understand domestic policy developments under Franklin Roosevelt and Lyndon Johnson?
Frameworks we discussed:
-Neustadt (bargaining and persuasion),
-Schlesinger (imperial presidency),
-Kernell (going public)
-Skowronek (political time),
-Grover (political economy / structural theory),
-Tichenor (social movements).
To explore this question, please pick one example related to Roosevelt and one example related to Johnson and connect your examples to at least one of the perspectives from earlier readings.
