The following must be included in your individual presentation and written submission:

2. Introduce your topic
3. Give detailed information about your topic – be specific about explaining your topic Include how is your topic is viewed in society in general or your community etc.
4. How does topic affect a person with this social issue in their everyday life? How about their family and others around them?
5. What are some of the ways a person or family can deal with these issues as they live their lives?
6. Where do conflicts arise with this issue in society? E.g., School system, legal rights, political decisions or lack of political assistance, lack of community awareness, lack of staff in the field etc. Explain some of these conflicts that your topic area encounters.
7. Are there government, community, or private programs initiatives or agencies in place that assist or support this specific social issue? Please provide some examples. 8. Is there funding that you are aware of for this issue and who funds it (ex: government, private sector), are there groups working toward bettering the social issue, ex: social groups, societies such as Alzheimer’s society etc.?
9. Do you see any gaps in the current system relating to your topic and do you have any suggestions on how it can be improved?
10. What have you learned from this topic that can help you in your future in the social service field?
11. Include APA references. Feel free to add any other information that I have not included that you find interesting, or you discovered about your topic if you choose.
